OUR LIFE GROUPS

What are Life Groups?

Life Groups are a way we can stay connected in fellowship throughout the week by gathering in each others homes, sharing a meal together, studying God's word, and praying for one another. We want our church family to extend beyond just gathering on a Sunday morning. Simply put, Life Groups are a collection of believers you can do life with together, to encourage one another in the faith and hold each other accountable in our relationship with Christ. Please, join us for one of our weekly Life Groups below!

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10:24-25

Our Life Group Leaders

LIFE GROUPS

Tim & Colleen

Tim and Colleen Hopkins became best friends attending Sinagua High School in Flagstaff, Arizona. They got married in 1996 and have been blessed with four beautiful children and two precious grandchildren. They enjoy life, spending time together, and are always up for an adventure.  The Hopkins family is honored and passionate in serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in whom they base their trust and friendship with.

God has abundantly blessed them both with a loving heart for all people. One of their favorite activities is hosting a Life Group in their home. They invite you to join them on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8pm. It is a great time to get into God’s word, fellowship, and share a delicious meal together.

Mark & Lori

Mark Matthews and Lori Barlow are got married April 27, 2019 and love living here in Flagstaff. Mark works at NAU and Lori runs ANEW Living, which is a transitional house for the working homeless, on Route 66 in the old 66 Motel. She has three adult married sons and 10 grandkids, a master’s degree in Business, and was born and raised in southern California. She moved to Flagstaff in 2011 to be closer to family and up to that point she believed in God but only spoke to him when she was in trouble and needed him to do something for her.  Her excuse for pulling away from the church was because she was against “organized religion” and I believed all churches were the same. God brought her to CFTN.F in 2013 through a friend’s invitation.  She started discovering she could have a relationship with God. Mark grew up in Dallas, Texas and spent most of his life in there, until four years ago he was hiking around Bell Rock in Sedona, AZ and decided on the spot to move to northern Arizona. He has 2 kids, a daughter Abbie who is 27 and a son Cliff, 29, who just got married. He was blessed to grow up in a Christian home, and although he has been through ups and downs in life, he has relied on his faith in God to get him through. In May of 2018, he met Lori and his life changed for the better. He did not have a church home, but had been looking for one. She introduced him to CFTN.F and he has enjoyed being here ever since.

They are excited to be hosting a Life Group, for God has been pressing on their hearts to get more involved in the church so they dived right in! They are new to it, but look forward to getting to know everyone better and to encourage each other in their walks with the Lord. Come join them on Wednesdays at 6pm!

*Currently on hiatus due to recently being married!

Peter & Tami

Hello, we are Peter and Tami McBride and we have been attending Church for the Nations - Flagstaff ever since it was called Lamb of God, starting all the way back in February of 2013. We are celebrating our 6 year anniversary at this amazing church! We have grown to love the people here and have built some amazing relationships by stepping out in our faith and getting involved. We believe engagement is the secret to fulfillment in your church and with your church family and we look forward to supporting those who wish to take part in a Saturday evening life group at 6pm hosted at our home as a step toward deeper relationship with Christ and with one another!

Creag & Socorro

Creag and Socorro Znetko have been walking and growing with CFTN.F for several years. They have a passion for servanthood in the body of Christ as well as ensuring the leadership of the church is prayed for and taken care of.  They have been married for 10 years and are the proud parents of five children (dogs and cats).  Creag and Socorro are both employed by local government. Creag works for the City of Flagstaff as administrative support for the Community Investment department while Socorro is a legal assistant for the Public Defenders office for Coconino County and serves five different attorneys.

Their willingness to follow the example Jesus spoke about in Luke 22:27 is a testament of God’s love for His people. They can be reached just about anytime for prayer, an attentive ear, a soft shoulder, and affirmation of the living Word of God.  They choose to seek God’s will for their lives and love to bear witness when His glory shines through the people they are surrounded with. Join them Wednesdays at 6:30pm!
